Inventory log

Audit every change to your stock with a complete history.

The Inventory Log records every change to your inventory — manual adjustments, sales, refunds, and movements between stock and checkout.

Open the log

In the side navigation, choose Reports → Inventory Log, or View Inventory Log from any product.

You can also open scoped logs:

  • View Product Log — every change to a single product across all locations and prices.
  • View Price Log — every change to a specific price.

What's in the log

Each row shows:

  • Date & User — when the change happened and who made it.
  • Action — adjustment, purchase, release, refund, or initial stock.
  • Product / Price and Location.
  • Amount — the delta or new value.
  • Reference ID and Memo — if entered during the adjustment.
  • Inventory Changes — describes whether stock or checkout changed:
    • "Items moved from stock to checkout" — purchase started.
    • "Items moved from checkout to finalized sale" — purchase completed.
    • "Both stock and checkout changed" — a combined action.

Filter the log

Use the filters at the top of the log:

  • Date Range — narrow to a specific period.
  • User — see actions by a particular team member.
  • Action — adjustments, sales, refunds, and so on.
  • Reference ID — search by reference number.
  • Product & Price — focus on a specific item.
  • Location — see one site only.

Export the log

Choose Export to download the log as a CSV.

  • A date range is required. NectarPay surfaces "A date range is required to export inventory logs" if it's missing.
  • The export is capped at 30 days per file. Wider ranges return "Date range cannot exceed 30 days".

Successful exports show "Inventory log export completed successfully".
