Account setup

Verify your email, connect Stripe, and activate your NectarPay account.

Before you can accept payments, your NectarPay account must be Active. That requires email verification and a connected Stripe account with charges and payouts enabled.

Verify your email

When you sign up, NectarPay sends a verification email.

  • Click the link in the email to verify your address. The link expires after 24 hours.
  • Didn't receive it? Check your spam folder, or sign in to NectarPay and choose Resend to send a new email.

Connect Stripe

NectarPay uses Stripe to process payments. The first time you sign in, you're routed to Account Setup.

  1. Choose Stripe Onboarding.
  2. Provide the business and banking details Stripe requires.
  3. Stripe returns you to NectarPay when onboarding is complete.

Note: Stripe may ask for additional information later as it reviews your account. You can return to onboarding at any time from Account → Stripe Account → Go To Stripe.

Account statuses

Your account status appears at the top of the Account page.

Status What it means
New You've signed up but haven't completed Stripe onboarding.
Active Stripe has enabled charges and payouts. You can accept payments.
Restricted Stripe has flagged your account. Visit Stripe to resolve outstanding requirements.

You'll also see live indicators for Charges Enabled and Payouts Enabled. If either is disabled, complete the requirements in your Stripe dashboard to restore full functionality.

Switch between accounts

If you belong to more than one NectarPay business, use Switch Account in the top-right menu to change which account you're working in. The selected account drives every page in the app, including locations, payments, and reports.
