NectarPay supports the following card readers:
BBPOS WisePOS E - full-featured countertop reader.
Verifone V660P - countertop reader with built-in receipt printing support. See Print a receipt at the terminal.
You can pair as many terminals as your plan allows and assign them to locations across your business.
In NectarPay, open Locations, then choose Order Terminals.
Follow the on-screen instructions to:
Sign in to your Stripe Dashboard.
Open Stripe's Terminal Hardware order page.
Place the order for your preferred reader.
When the reader arrives, return to NectarPay to pair it.
From a location's detail page, choose Add Terminal.
On the WisePOS E reader, swipe right from the left edge of the screen, tap Settings, enter the admin PIN, and generate a registration code (for example, apple-grape-orange).
In NectarPay, enter:
Terminal Name - what you'll see throughout the app.
Registration Code - the code displayed on the reader.
Receipt Printer (optional) - assign an Epson printer if one is configured.
Save. The terminal appears under the location and is ready to take payments.
Tip: Trouble finding the registration code? On the reader, swipe right from the left edge, tap Settings, enter the admin PIN, then generate a new pairing code.
From the terminal list, choose Edit Terminal to update the name or assigned printer, or Delete Terminal to remove it.
Deleting a terminal is permanent. The associated payment history is preserved.
Use Activate and Deactivate to control whether a reader is available for payments without removing it. Deactivated terminals don't count toward your plan's terminal limit until you reactivate them.
Favorite up to 5 terminals for quick access from the Dashboard.
From the dashboard, choose Add Favorite Terminal, pick a location, then a terminal.
To remove a favorite, open the terminal card on the dashboard and choose Remove Terminal.
If you try to add a sixth favorite, NectarPay asks you to remove one first.
Your plan determines how many terminals you can pair:
Starter - 1 active terminal.
Lite - 1 reader free, then $15 per reader per month. Add more from Account > Plan Details > Add Terminals.
If you hit the limit, NectarPay prompts you to upgrade or increase your terminal count before pairing a new device.
For testing, NectarPay supports simulated terminals. When creating a terminal you can specify a Simulated Quantity (between 1 and 99) to add virtual readers that respond to test payments. Simulated payments include a [DEV] Simulate Payment action on the payment screen.
