Payment links

Create a hosted checkout page that you can share with customers.

Payment links let you accept money without a reader. NectarPay generates a hosted checkout page (and a QR code) that you share with the customer over email, text, or print.

Note: Payment links are available on the Lite plan.

Create a payment link

  1. Open Payment Links and choose Create Payment Link.

  2. Name the link — this name is customer-facing and appears on the checkout page.

  3. Select Products & Prices — search your catalog and add one or more products. For each:

    • Choose the price option.
    • Set a Quantity, or enable the quantity hint to let the customer pick a quantity (with optional minimum and maximum).
  4. (Optional) Custom Fields — collect additional info from the customer at checkout. Each field can be:

    • Text — short text input, with an optional character limit.
    • Numbers Only — numeric input.
    • Dropdown — a list of options.

Mark fields as required or optional, and add multiple fields per link.

  5. (Optional) Call to Action — choose Pay, Donate, or Book as the button label.

  6. (Optional) Confirmation Page — choose between:

    • Show the default confirmation page with an optional custom message, or
    • Don't Show and redirect the customer to your Website URL instead.
  7. (Optional) Other Options:

    • Limit Payments — cap how many successful payments the link can collect.
    • Save Payment Details — let the customer save their payment method for future use.
    • Custom Message — replace the default thank-you message.
  8. Review the Summary & Total and save.

Share the link

From the payment link's detail page you can:

  • Copy Link — copy the customer-facing URL to your clipboard.
  • Scan to Pay — display or download a QR code for printing on receipts, table tents, or signage.
  • Send — email the link directly from NectarPay. You can attach a customer record so the receipt is associated to them.

When you copy a URL, NectarPay confirms with Url copied to clipboard!.

Edit, deactivate, and delete

From the link's detail page:

  • Edit Link to change the name, products, custom fields, or other options.
  • Deactivate to disable the link without deleting it. Customers visiting a deactivated link see a "Payment Unavailable" message.
  • Reactivate at any time.
  • Delete to remove the link permanently.

Track payments from a link

The payment link detail page lists every payment associated with the link, with the same statuses and filters as the main Payments view. From here you can refund, view the receipt, or open the full payment detail.

Note: Inventory is not currently consumed by payment-link checkouts. Inventory support for payment links is on the NectarPay roadmap.
