A product group collects products that are variants of the same item — for example, T-shirts in different sizes, or coffee in different sizes. At a self-serve kiosk, customers see the group first and then choose a variant to add to their cart.
Create a product group
- In the side navigation, open Catalog → Groups.
- Choose Create Group.
- Enter a Name and optional description and image.
- Choose Save.
Add products to a group
You can assign a group to a product two ways:
- When creating or editing a product, choose a group from the Group dropdown.
- From the group detail page, add or remove products.
A product can belong to one group at a time.
Group detail page
Open a group to see:
- Member products and their prices.
- Tags applied at the group level. Group tags affect kiosk filtering — see Filter by category at the kiosk.
- An option to update or delete the group.
Edit or delete
- Update Group — change the name, description, image, or tags.
- Delete Group — remove the group. Products are unlinked but remain in your catalog.
Tip: Use groups for things like sizes or flavors, and use tags for cross-cutting categories such as "seasonal" or "vegan".
